yes that was our Marilyn !I never noticed her body-size till I was working on some research about “media Image & figures” back in college. Marilyn would be classified as an overweight for a hollywood star by today’s standards. she was size 16 while her cup-size was 36D. Her hourglass shaped figure made her special that for sure, yes her figure did not look that good on this pic but who would really with that pause, this outfit and unphotoshoped !

Actress Michelle Williams channels Marilyn Monroe on Vogue Oct.11 cover. Michelle is playing Marilyn Monroe in the upcoming film My Week With Marilyn, and got into character for her second Vogue cover shoot. My Week with Marilyn, opens November 4. It’s about a week of Marilyn’s life in 1956 while filming the movie The Prince and the Showgirl.
she had to gain weight to have Marlyan’s figure, Michelle said : “Unfortunately, it went right to my face (puffs up cheeks to illustrate). So at some point it became a question of, Do I want my face to look like Marilyn Monroe’s or my hips?” (She opted for the former and filled out the latter with foam padding.)
