In 2010, the French leather good label “Lancel” launched a bag called BB inspired by the French legend Brigitte Bardot. the creative director of Lancel Leonello Borghi said he got inspired by Brigitte image. Her smooth curves were reflected on the soft materials, the tassels reminded him of her cascading hair, the plaid prints on the lining of the bag features is her favorite. The bag is made of tweed and fake suede because Brigitte Bardot is against the use of fur and leather.
BB is her nickname in show business.
